Meet the Management Team
Brian Cannon - Managing Director
Upon leaving the Army in 1987, after serving for over 23 years, Brian went on to work at PERA in Melton Mowbray. After only a few months he was promoted to head of the Technical Publications department. In 1991 PERA withdrew from the production of Technical Publications, as a result Brian and two colleagues went on to set up TMS Publications, one retired almost immediately and in April 2004 Brian bought out the other shareholder and TMS Publications became TMS Support Solutions Ltd.
Jean Cannon - Commercial Director
Jean has been overseeing company activity right from the beginning, since 1991. Jean set up a project control system for all TMS projects ensuring they were kept to budget, met milestones, delivered on time and most importantly our customers were happy.
Being part-time for the last 5 years Jean is now responsible for annual leave, overtime and timesheets and type checking.
Tim Cannon BEng (Hons) MIEE OCP - Technical Director
Tim joined the company in 2002 bringing with him a wealth of technical expertise. During his career Tim has acquired specialist knowledge and skills in developing secure communication systems. An Oracle Certified Professional, Tim has worked on projects within high profile organisations such as IBM and the HM Government Communications Centre.
At TMS Tim is responsible for providing board level input on software and IT related matters and managing a team of 6 to develop internal and external software development projects.
Theresa Cannon - Director
Theresa joined TMS in 2004 after several years of a successful career in retail management. Theresa, who has strong project management skills, works closely with the TMS Project Managers assisting them in their roles with the financial management of their projects, ensuring that projects are resourced correctly and are running to schedule. Theresa also manages the support office and oversees the HR department.
She also assists Jeremy with general accountancy tasks.
Jeremy Dent BSC ACA - Financial Controller & Company Secretary
Jeremy joined the TMS team in November 2006 and is responsible for all accounting and company secretarial duties. Jeremy qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1991 and, prior to securing his present position, gained significant experience within accountancy practice as well as acting in the position of Financial Controller / Finance Director for a variety of commercial enterprises.
